Annan THAMBI..ANWAR & MAMMOOTTY STRIKES AGAIN

Mammootty and Anwar Rashid, the magic pair of Rajamanickam is
back after a three year break with Marakkar Films new mass masala
entertainer Annan Thambi.
Mammootty plays dual role as Annan and Thambi and is pitted against
Gopika and Lakshmi Rai, with Rahasiya doing an item number, to the
Adipoli songs tuned by music director Rahul Raj. The others in
this action packed comedy caper is Harisri Asokhan, Sooraj
Venjaranmoodu, Kalabhavan Haneefa, Urmila Unni and Mohan Jose.
Hit script writer Benny.P. Nayarambalam, is writing the story and
screenplay. The story is about twins Appu and Achu, who in their
childhood have filial hatred for each other that their parents
separate them. Achu is deaf and mute while Appu is a chatterbox, who talks even in
his sleep. Later Achu thinks that Appu who is a member of a Ballet
troupe, has kidnapped his girl friend, and an all out war breaks out
between the two.
Says Anwar Rashid: " Annan Thambi is going to be a mass
commercial fun movie, in which Mammooka rocks! All ingredients are
there to make it work big time with his fans and the family
audiences." The film is slated for Vishu (April 14) release.
